ReNourish is a community garden with a twist.

Located at Pines Resource Recovery Park, ReNourish is more than just growing plants, it’s about cultivating connections, sharing knowledge, and establishing a sense of community. It’s a place where the next generation of gardeners can learn from experienced ones.

ReNourish is a low impact garden based on sustainable and ecological principles. It focuses on using resources wisely by repurposing, recycling, and recovering materials for beneficial use.

You'll see all sorts of repurposed items and materials used in a variety of ways at ReNourish as well as compost bins, worm farms and other demonstrations on turning waste into treasure.

Join us for soup and hot drinks to celebrate the opening of ReNourish at our Garden Open Day on Saturday, 22 June. This event is part of our Community Gardens Tour, which also visits gardens at Te Ara Ātea and Brookside Road. You are welcome to attend one, two, or all three tours. The tours are free, but please register so we can plan for the number of attendees.
