Raveen Jaduram director of CORDE

Selwyn District Council Mayor Sam Broughton and Murray Harrington, Chair of the Board at CORDE Limited, are pleased to announce that Raveen Jaduram has been appointed director to the CORDE board.

Mr Jaduram fills the vacant role that opened when board member Murray Harringtonwas appointed Board Chair in July.
Mr Harrington says, with a wealth of experience from over a decade of roles as aboard director and chief executive, Mr Jaduram will be a great appointment.

“We are delighted to bring someone on board with so much experience and a track record of inspirational leadership with a wide range of infrastructure businesses internationally, and his work as an advisor to the government Local Water Done Well Technical Advisory Group will be invaluable at a time of change in the industry.”

Mr Jaduram says it is an exciting time to join CORDE. “As Selwyn grows, CORDE has a huge role to play as a core infrastructure provider to the district, and the organisation is in a strong growth phase, looking to expand further beyond Selwyn, which is a great opportunity to be a part of.”

Mr Jaduram has worked in governance roles across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, as well as on companies and boards in the United States and the United Kingdom.

He is a leading figure in New Zealand infrastructure, having served as a boardmember for the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission, the Institute for Strategic Leadership, and the Te Waihanga Chair of the Infrastructure Research Centre at the University of Auckland.

Mayor Sam Broughton welcomed Mr Jaduram to Waikirikiri Selwyn and the board.
