Truck driving down road works alongside grass, bush and footpath

Levi Road has reopened two-way for morning and evening traffic this week.

Levi Road will be open for two-way traffic from 6pm–9am until Friday 27 September.

Work is continuing on the road during the week so there will still be a 30km/h speed restriction in place. The road will return to one-way from 9am until 6pm each day to allow the final bits of work to be completed. Levi Road will fully reopen on Saturday 28 September.

Springston watermain renewal works:

The majority of the works on Ellesmere Junction Road are now complete.

There are three-way traffic lights at the junction for two weeks to complete works on the Leeston Road section, then the road will be open two-way but work will continue until 20 December.

Ellesmere to Pines Pipeline works:

We have started working on Leeston Road, between Irwell and Doyleston, and work on this section will continue until Christmas.

There are temporary traffic lights on Leeston Road between Selwyn Lake Road and Lake Road South until 25 October, and a second section of works started this Monday and will run until 1 November with temporary traffic lights between Lake Road South and Hanmer Road.

We will keep you updated on any changes throughout the works. To keep everyone safe, please abide by any temporary speed limits and follow the traffic control signs in place.
